Embodied Yin & Somatic Resourcing

Come…

Rest.

Rest in movement.
Rest in breath.

What does it mean to really rest?

Would would it feel like to give up trying to be anything?
Would would it feel like to give up trying to know anything?
To release into really listening… just for a moment.

We will explore the art of divine replenishment.

Shifting down gears by surrendering the body to a state of rest and natural resourcing.

This practice is a way to turn inwards and integrate the week, before transitioning slowly and consciously into the weekend. This will be a deceleration practice including Embodied Yin & Restorative somatic practices. There will also be space for contemplation and journalling.

CREATE YOUR SPACE:

Intentional creation of your container is so important for this practice ,
it will contribute significantly to the deepening of connection.

Please find a quiet space where you can feel safe and be uninterrupted for around 90 minutes.

Please take time to set your space.

Bring in as many of the following elements as possible.

  • Low/warm lighting.

  • Soft ground - a rug, yoga mat, or blanket covering the floor -ground to give yourself over into.

  • Burning incense or scented candle - any fragrance you may associate with meditative practice.

  • Cushions/bolster, blanket and yoga block - these props are not essential but will support you.

  • Secure container - consider closing the windows and doors to your space, create a sacred boundary.

  • Temperature - make sure you're warm enough.

  • Bluetooth speaker for enhanced sound quality.

A playlist will be shared prior to the session which requires a Spotify premium account.

This session operates on a sliding scale £10 - £25.

I understand that is not available to everyone, please don’t let your financial situation stop you from joining.  Please contact me here.
