Online via Zoom
This space is designed to invite you to step into the power of your own grounded stability and move from your deepest centre with conviction and clarity.
So many of us find our psyche and inner state easily co-opted by the energies of the world around us, this can feel overwhelming and our bodies may shut down and feel helpless or unable to act/action/respond in ways that feel empowered or aligned with what we desire to create or bring forth int the world.
Many of us who are naturally quite open, sensitive and porous beings need to cultivate tools to navigate in a very loud world. We need to learn how to protect ourselves, we need to learn how to embody boundaries and say “no”.
This will be a dojo in which we play with somatic tools and techniques to find our fire, ferocity and stability.
It is the path to embody a calm, grounded presence that has capacity to act when needed.
Sunday 26th April
7pm UK - 8pm CET -11am CA - 2pm NYC
What does it mean to embody boundaries?
Embodying boundaries is the ability to express our limits not just mentally or verbally but with our WHOLE body. It’s the difference between saying “no” and actually feeling the truth of that “no” in our body - and allowing our BODY to lead in communicating the boundary.
How do we embody boundaries?
Rest and Connect: Relaxing and resting to reduce stress. Settling into the body and releasing from the fixation of the mind.
Meditatively Listen: Getting quiet enough to really listen so we can get to know our body’s unique language so we can interpret our own needs.
Cultivate Energy: Engage in somatic practices to cultivate sympathetic arousal. “Thaw the freeze”.
This is our fire, our life force energy.
Learn to Hold Charge: Practice being with and “holding” the feeling of energetic charge in our body so that we can be skilful with it’s expression.
This is an invitation to explore this together in community with breath, embodied presence and powerful somatic tools.
These sessions are donation based.
Information on how to donate will be in the email when you receive the zoom link.
